Our family of five arrived in Istanbul in the morning and only had one day there. Mustafa was our guide and we had a wonderful (full day) walking tour of the old city and saw all the important sites. He was very knowledgeable (and very nice) and also took us to the best place for lunch!! Okan was very responsive via emails - and always so prompt and contacted me while we were on our travels prior to arriving to Istanbul to touch base with us. I would recommend Okan and TSC Travel. Our trip to Turkey was amazing thanks to TSC Travel and Okan. When we began to plan the trip I had read reviews about TSC that were so positive I contacted them. We suggested sites and Okan immediately sent possible itineraries. He even gave us a telephone call to answer some of our questions. We settled on a 10 day tour with a 7 day group and several days in Istanbul at the end. We had some trepidation about traveling with a group because we had never done so, always travelling on our own. But we need not have worried. When we met the other two couples on the tour it was like meeting old friends. We immediately bonded. And with the addition of our WONDERFUL guide Koray Yasa, the trip was great fun and all we could have wanted.
Koray was very knowledgeable about all the sites and he made history come alive. . He also patiently answered our constant questions. He was positive, fun, and accommodating, and each day was another great adventure. Whatever our needs, such as changing the order on our itinerary, or help finding a camera shop when our camera died, or finding the nearest rest stop, he'd make it happen. And our driver Suayip was very competent and made us feel safe in the spotless van. Our hotels were lovely, the beds very comfortable, and the breakfast spreads delicious. Our 7 day tour ended and we spent another 5 days in Istanbul at a great hotel in the heart of the old city where we could walk to many major sites. Okan arranged for the hotel and two days of touring Istanbul with a lovely and knowledgeable young woman . He also neatly arranged all the transport to and from the airports. It was a trip of lifetime thanks to Okan and his team. I would recommend TSC Travel to anyone who wanted to visit Turkey.

We had a six-day Turkey tour in May with Mustafa our friendly knowledgable guide and Esref our trusty driver. Our group was small (seven) and very friendly. The hotels (especially Heybe Hotel in Goreme and Sentido Suites in Kusadasi) were excellent and the meals were delicious and plentiful. Our bus was very comfortable and the itinerary included all the highlights we hoped for. Mustafa inspired us with his passion and insights into the rich cultural and political history of his country. There were numerous 'wow' moments including Cappadocia and the ancient cave churches, Rumi's tomb in Konye and the ancient ruins of Ephesus and Aphrodisia. There were a number of shopping 'opportunities', leather factories, carpet factories, potteries where we were treated to demonstrations of silk spinning, carpet weaving and clay wheel work. These were highly informative and entertaining, however on occasions the salesmanship afterwards took up rather too much of our limited tour time. A lasting impression is of the great camaraderie that developed throughout the tour, led by Mustafa with his infectious cheeky sense of fun and great energy. We would highly recommend this tour.
