Booked an overnight tour from Istanbul down to Gallipoli & Troy then return via the internet many months ago. I was a little nervous that we might arrive to find something had gone wrong, but I needn't have worried. There was a welcome pack waiting at our hotel for us & we were collected right on time. The entire tour operated by Crowded House Travel ran like clockwork. We were greeted with a great lunch on arrival in Eceabat, had a very informative tour of the Gallipoli site then were escorted to our hotel in Canakkale. The next day we were collected on-time, had another great tour of Troy & joined the bus for the trip back to our hotel in Istanbul.

We had the pleasure of using TSC for a day trip out of Istanbul to see the sights in Cappadocia. It was terrific as were our guide and driver. I loved that there was no pressure to buy anything at the workshops that we visited.

 

We also had the privilege of visiting the site of Gobekli Tepe - a 12,000 year old temple complex still being excavating. This was another day trip and it was fascinating. Our guide was so proud of his city and of the sites he showed us, it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. 

 

Highly recommend this very organized travel planning group.

We did a two night, three day trip from Istanbul to Cappadocia, which was great. We had two wonderful guides on the two days who were not only very knowledgeable, but also very friendly and helpful. We loved the hotel we stayed in in Goreme, especially when our host made up sandwiches for us for breakfast when the shuttle bus arrived early to take us to the airport! Okan was very good to communicate with before the trip and we were very satisfied with what was offered. Our only snag was that the shuttle driver to take us to the airport in Istanbul had trouble finding our hotel so we just got to the airport in time!
